Doing a pre-assessment refresher is SUCH a good idea, to get some direct input from an RCI course director as to where you’re at, what’s going well and what could be developed… There is ALWAYS something to learn, and it streamlines the assessment process for many people, meaning less stress and a better performance!

Third and final day of my last RCI training course of the year today 🧗‍♂️
We spent the day rigging all sorts of climbs and abseils for groups and solving whatever problems came our way. A fantastic few days with a top team who’ve got a whole host of new skills and a clear picture of way they need to go and work on in the consolidation period..

A busy week of work just gone, with a few climbing wall days hiding from the weather along with delivering some ML refresher workshops, but this one coaxed me outside today to play in the mountains.. Better than staying in and doing admin any day 👌
Neither of us had done Y Gribin in a while so we opted for that as our ascent route - my word is it slippy in the wet! 😂 Once up and over Lliwedd the weather improved and we had the route to ourselves..

St David’s head is always a special place to climb. I’ve been lucky enough to spend hundreds of days out there, but it’s the first year I’ve seen these guys out there! And three times now! 🐬🐬🐬
There’s always seals, porpoise, occasionally a sunfish, common dolphin or even the odd shark, but these guys are just so beautiful!
And to have the place to ourselves on such a perfect day, what a treat! 🥳
